Instagram has launched an auto-generated caption feature on its app. Users will be able to use the auto-generated caption feature while watching videos on Instagram. Auto-generated captions will only appear in Instagram videos. The auto-generated captions were announced by Instagram on its official Twitter handle Instagram. And the head of Instagram Adam Mosseri also announced the auto-generated feature on his Twitter handle.
Instagram has rolled out the auto-generated captions feature for those in deaf and hard of hearing communities. Instagram auto-generated captions are in 17 languages including English, Hindi, Spanish, French, Urdu, and many more. And the rest of the language will be added later.
Instagram users can also turn on or off auto-generated captions while watching a video, and the user can also turn on or off show captions while uploading a video to IG Feed on Instagram.
How do I turn on auto-generated captions on Instagram?
1. Touch on the three dots in the top right of the video.
2. Then select the Manage captions option.
3. After that turn on the captions option.
